Hey all!

Sorry, no update today; just some filler artwork so you’ll at least have something to look at.  I’ve been swamped with work and sick.  I’ll try to get the comic up as soon as possible.  In the meantime, enjoy this portrait I did of Ovid in exile in Tomis a while back.  Ovid was exiled to the Black Sea, in what is modern-day Romania, in 8 CE by the Emperor Augustus.  In exile, he invented a new genre of poetry, exile poetry, to tell of his sadness.  In this portrait, he is consigning Book 1 of the Tristia, or “poems of sadness”…
