Howdy all… the end-of-term maddness soldiers on!  I decided that, rather than blitz through a half-assed page for the middle of last week, I would just skip it all together and get a decent page done for this week.  This way, I can start on next week’s page with a full week, instead of having a cascade of late comics.  Thank you all for your patience and sorry for the messy update schedule.

This page is remarkably detailed, considering it covers less than five whole lines (two of the lines are half-lines).  Because of this, and the fact it is half-past midnight here, my commentary will be very brief tonight.  At any rate, the plot will unfold quickly from here, and there will be plenty to say in coming weeks.  I’ll pretty much just say that it was super nice of Ovid to give me cooking instructions for POWs – it helped out with drawing this page and with Thanksgiving preparations this year…*

This is another gorey page.  Anyone who is surprised by this, might want to refresh themselves on my disclaimer.

In other news, I wrote a blog post!  For another website!  About this one!  I did a piece for Res Gerendae, the graduate blog for the Faculty of Classics here at Cambridge (you might remember them from my last piece there).  I was asked by the blog’s benevolent overlords to explain what it is I do with the comic here as part of their celebrations for the blog’s third birthday.  It was fun, and I think the piece sums up a lot of my hopes and dreams for the comic.  So, go check out my piece and wish Res Gerendae a happy birthday!

That’s it for me this week – I gotta get the final leg of term completed!  See you next week!

* I’m kidding, jeez…
